For quite some time now crypto exchanges have been upgrading their services to cater for their customer’s demand, and now KuCoin customer base can fund their accounts with plastic money. Through a partnership with Israel based firm Simplex, KuCoin now provides credit cards service to its customers. The announcement reached the public domain through a press release from KuCoin.
Per the press notes, the credit cards services will be under the asset tab on KuCoin exchange website and will support quite some digital coins. The coins currently supported are Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash ABC, Ripple XRP, Ethereum and lastly Bitcoin. Although the current number of supported digital currencies is less compared to the number of digital coins on the exchange portfolio, as times goes by more coins will be supported. However, as per now customer can purchase their desired virtual currencies in dollars and euros in 100 regions. With the above development, KuCoin joins Changelly, Litecoin Foundation, BRD, Shapeshift, Xapo Treasury, BitMart Exchange, eToro, and Binance all working with Simplex. Though Simplex is based in Israel, it has offices in Lithuania, the United States, and the UK.
KuCoin Customers to Enjoy Chargeback Services from Simplex
Apart from making it easy to complete transactions through local fiat currencies dollars and euros, KuCoin customers are a lucky lot since Simplex provides chargeback services. Through the latter, anytime an unfortunate event occurs and you lose funds as a KuCoin customer Simplex chargeback mechanism will kick in to cover the losses.
Apart from the above development, KuCoin customers should expect more developments from KuCoin this year this is after the exchange held a successful series A funding in 2018 November. From the funding event, KuCoin was able to get $20 million worth of funds. The latter amount will be used to facilitate the development of KuCoin platform version 2.0. The latter version will come with more useable features that will guarantee the customers a smooth process when making transactions. Among the entities that led KuCoin 2018 Series A funding include Neo Global Capital, Matrix Partners, and IDG Capital. Through their support, KuCoin had a successful fundraiser.
